simons last wishes

the scene that i thought was the worst and the most interesting was when the lord of the flies was talking to Simon. i thought this was the only good option that was given to me so i will write about it. what happened in this chapter was after jack had killed the pig was he stuck the head of the pig on a stick thus creating the lord of the flies. This is a figment of the boys imagination.

this is weird in many ways if you think about it because i think golding was trying to state that people in the world are messed up and they will continue being messed up. in case you don't understand if there were twelve people on a plane and a man had a gun and said to do orders and if you didn't do what he asked he would kill your baby. for this scenario the common person would either try to listen to his orders or B just kill the man. this is what golding is trying to state. that put into a situation you will do anything to save your self even if it cost the life of another person and that is pure evil and i agree with him 100%

I chose this because I felt that I have a strong opinion on the subject and i have a lot to say and that I can kind of shine a light on the topic and who ever reads this and see a different side because you might not agree with golding. so I think that this is a good way to show how I feel

scared out of my mind

I'm scared because all the boys that are following jack and the hunters are acting very scary and they are doing strange things. they think that hunting is more important then getting the heck out of here. we went to get some meat and poor piggy. jack docent like piggy so he didn't give him meat. it was very disturbing how jack and all of them just came into the camp and took our wood i mean who do they think they are. if they just asked we would have given them some wood but steeling is not okay.

Roger is creepy when they guys were playing that stupid game were they were reacting killing the pig they in fact were acting like animals except animals don't taunt something before they kill it. that is the difference between animals and savages. Were humans and we are acting crazy, maybe its the sun effecting all of us and making us seem so crazy.

i have been thinking a lot lately that if i were to die tomorrow would I have anything to show for my life. Do you see what I mean. All the other boys have helped in some way like jack he's gotten us meat. piggy is the brains, Ralph is the leader and I don't do anything

I am really mad at Ralph. Ralph only cares about getting off this island he docent take the Time to see the true beauty of the island, all the does is stress out about ways to get out of here. he needs to be more like me and calm down and go hunting and have fun. he thinks as this experience as a bad thing, me on the other hand is enjoying the island. heck, i have a better thought on the island, i should be the chief.

I'm a better leader and i actually know what I'm doing instead of that dumb Ralph, he just goes with the flow. I would make a ten times better leader. it makes me so mad i just get so mad, sometimes I can't control myself. I hope i don't get waxy over something stupid and lose all my self control. that seems to be something i tend t do a lot.

I had the great idea of making the signal fire and he took it from me and blamed it on me that it was my fault. i think that Ralph is a terrible leader and he shouldn't be and that i should. I am starting no to like him so much. Therese not much i can do tho but maybe if i get the rest of the boys to be against him with me we and Mounty him off as chief. it is going to be wicked hard though. All the boys like him so much

Oh my goodness. I really cant handle jack he is starting an out rage. his fire idea worked out so well. besides we anent thinking before we do anything and just jumping to conclusions like the fire Ralph had a good idea of making a signal fire and everybody just rushes up to the mountain and we cause this huge wild fire and burn down half of the island and we still haven't gotten off this horrific island because he had to go and hunt like the great man he is and not pay any attention to the fire. the ship was looking for us and it just passed. thats not even the worst part jack hates my guts now for no reason.

simon perspective

today I had a good idea to make our time on the island a little better but no one admired me for it. when jack was off trying to catch a pig I was doing more important things. hunting for meat sounds great but we already have fruit and nuts why do we need meat that should be the last thing we should really should worry about. i wanted to make shelters so if a storm came we could be some what of a place to be safe, but does anybody help simon. i feel that no one listens to me on the island well at least we got to build three pretty good house and there sturdy and thats what really matters. the worst part is what if a ship comes and the hunters and jack are trying to catch a pig, there not doin there one and only job that is to watch the fire but i cant say anything to jack he is scary. i cant possibly stand up to a boy like jack maybe if i talk to Ralph h will do something. I hope he doesn't mention my name or, or, ... im starting to get dizzy i might pass out

Lets Get Off This Island

Day two and were still stuck on this island. I shouldn't be complaining because Therese a lot of food well fruit,no meat not yet at least. Its really hot on the other hand therese a huge lagoon that is perfect to swim in and to cool you down after the day. I'm still not sure what that kid with the scar on his eye and he was talking about a "beastie" of some sort i don't believe them. there ll just seeing things. Therese not acutely a bestie. i came up with the beast plan today to maintain a signal fire by using that no good fatty piggy's specks to light the fire. it was his fault that the fire went out of hand and burned half of the beautiful island. I'm still not sure what happened to that boy with the scar on his eye but all I know is that he was in the a area where all the trees burned to the ground. I still think that I'm the one on the island that is the smartest and I'm sure that I will get us off for sure. I have the most survival skills on this island and

If you had gone back to the island and you could do it again would you?

I think that i would do it again because i lerned alot during this expirence.

Do you think that the island was a great place to get staneded on if you had to be straneded?

yes because we had found the pigs were and there was alot of laggons to bath in, the onlything that i had a problem was with the scorching heat


did the other kids on the island look up to you on the island?

i think so because there not much and and i was just there and I looked old and looked like i new what i was doing and it turned out that i had some really good ideas



do you think that if you could kick someone off the island who would it be?

I'm not sure that Roger kid scares me!



do you think that pushing that rock down the mountine was a good idea?

i dont know but it was really fun and i'm guessing that it wolnt have eny afect on us in the future



where did you come up with the idea with making a fire on the mountine?

well if a ship that was looking for us or a plane flue by i thought it would be a good idea if me made a singnal fire so they could see the smoke.



what did you eat on the island for most of the time?

we ate pigs and pigglets and bark and small incets. i no what your thinking dosnt sound very appleing but you would eat enything when your starving
